Not as guaranteed

I’ve recently transferred from BT to EE. I’m on full fibre 500 with minimum guaranteed speed of 425.

I’ve tested the speed via multiple means the speed is never more than 180 down.

Part of the package is described an “EE Smart Hub” which was not delivered - I’m still using my BT router. I contacted EE who stated I’d be keeping my BT router.

So whats going on?

Are you testing wired or wireless?

Try a wired speedtest, using an Ethernet cable supplied with the router, here http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html . Click on the "Results Page" button at the bottom of the graph you first see and then copy to here just the "Link to this result:" link that you see below the next main graph.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

@nemis You also need to do a wired speed test with a suitable device so at least it is known your package is up near the possible speed, with all wireless devices off if possible.

Sorry

@nemis That's a pretty good router, and you should be able to get the 500Mb/s out of it, what is the wireless device that you are using, test about 3 foot away from the router, and if you cannot disable all other wireless devices then it's little hard to know if they are all behaving...

Hi

Ahh  thats not the result I had it says 150Mbps when i tried it.
