Hi there, my broadband is down, spoke to EE they are saying I need new power supply but will not get cable for 2 working days- so no broadband til then. What are my options? I have read that some have got it within 1 hr?

@Devendra_patel If you read it somewhere then try to find that, EE say 2 day's that is what they will be trying for!

I have a solid green light on the router is on, but sometimes it just switches off

Hi, my broadband went down yesterday too, had a short power cut and then wouldn't connect, they're also saying need new power cable, not sure why a power cut would affect the power cable! also saying 2 working days so assume will be after the bank holiday now

@Devendra_patel @richnat1995 There are a few variants for PSU failure that show up, hub boots up connects to the system about 5 minutes later drops off to the no connected state, ie green light, along with green / flash off white cycling back and forth, and possible like the posting just switching off and restarting, Power dips and storms also seem to damage the PSU unit.
Been found that the EE Router is OK and just changing the PSU out fixes it and back into operation! Downside not easy to find available on Amazon if needed but if EE can get it out quick enough then best to let them do it that way!...
