New EE connections

I have been with BT since I moved to this house some 40 years ago. With cost of landline going through the roof (was paying plus £150 every time the bill came in for not much use of the landline), not to mention broadband with Virgin and sky package, decided to put all the eggs in the same basket to trim the cost.

Landline was connected to Panasonic (4 handsets) wireless phones.

The fibre cable was installed by what seems to be a contractor (who do I contact for remedial to badly installed cable and boxes)

Now, If call is made to the landline from a mobile or another device, the panasonic rings, I can hear the caller on the Panasonic but they cannot hear me- there is no sidetone. Do I need a new phone or is there an issue with the new connection.

Thanks for reading the post

@DannyPan If your Activation is just recent, takes a little time to settle, but few post's with the same and similar issues. There is nothing wrong with your phone, Base station plugged into the rear of the router, and all other handset's as normal. Just give it a little time to see if it settles. Have copied the help link for contact and text from your mobile they can test and get back to you. If you are not happy with the quality of the install Call EE CS 150 when you get the phone working.

Have a read through the Digital Home Phone post's will let you know some of the issues going on with the service.
