I am having EE installed on the 1st June - broadband half fibre and tv.
Myself and my neighbours have had a letter pushed through the door that Open reach are installing ultrafast fibre broadband in the street.
When I went to the shop he said would be coming sometime this year but didn't know when.
How would I be able to get the fast fibre broadband do I need to cancel the contract as we have not received any equipment and the engineer isn't coming out till 1st June
Many thanks for any replied
Mandy

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker > Address Checker estimate for your address? Post the whole table, the text below it and the line above it, blanking out your address.
I wouldn't cancel your partial Fibre (FTTC) order unless it can be shown that Full Fibre (FTTP) is coming PDQ. Anyway EE should be offering you a guaranteed free upgrade to Full Fibre when it appears.

@biggsey24633 Past experience, with OR doing all the ground works to get the FF available, it's a good 6 months before the ISP's all start to have it ready and available for sale. Only down side for you is that you have to start off with the 6 Plus version off the EE Hub, that's the only newer one that supports the old FTTC copper connection, moving to Fibre with that hub, is just a matter of changing over the RJ11 DSL cable to the Ethernet RJ45 for Wan, that cable maybe supplied in the box also, if not EE should send you one when you Upgrade to the FREE FF Full Fibre connection. Link below takes you to all about the EE Hubs that are current.
