Did you mean:

Should I stay or should I go?

Got a renewal notice from EE just for broadband contract which finishes at the end of the calendar year, very simple. My son joined EE last week, he is paying 40% less than what I was offered,  getting twice the speed, and has been sent some welcome vouchers . Do I just walk away after being a BT/EE customer for over 30 years. Loyalty does not seem to pay.

@Fernsden : It's your decision! Your son was a new to EE cust. You're not! EE offers attractive prices to new custs to get them in while existing users generally have increased prices over time. So do most ISPs. You could be lurching from pillar to post from 1 ISP to another chasing cheaper prices every 2 years with the risk & delay of downtime.

@Fernsden Start walking, and do the OTS (One Touch Switch) that way you will get the best price as a new customer with a new ISP, and EE may just reach out to you when they are notified you are leaving, you will also know what to pitch the stay price at if you need to do so.

Hi @Fernsden

Move via cashback sites for extra benefits. It is so easy to change these days I have no idea why anyone stays long term with any provider.

Thanks
