Hi got my first bill from EE today and it's £64, BT was £35. On the email I received 2 mths ago it's says were staying the same nothing will change .

Contract will stay the same with the same ending date 13/12/25.

BT account says bill on the 26 August will be £35.

I don't have an EE account.

Update on the phone to EE and they think I must be getting scammed as it's a mobile account.

Hi @Wonders85

Welcome to the community.

We don't have account access here, but i'd love to try and help you with this.

Have you recently upgraded?

Is this for Broadband or mobile?

Do you have an online account set up?

Thanks

Ritu

Hi I just noticed the payment being taken out of my bank. BT usually take it out around the 26th of each mth.

It's for broadband I had emails about 2mths ago saying BT is switching to EE and got new offer's etc that I didn't accept as my contract in up in December and wanted to wait.

Ive just got a bt account which says next payment 26th August £35.

I don't have an EE account yet it's says ill get a code with my next bill, maybe I'll get an email sometime this week or next.

Thanks @Wonders85, I'm a bit unsure what you mean here.

You mention not choosing to switch to the new EE offers that were presented to you, is this a case you were switched whilst maintaining your plan, or as far as you're aware are you still on BT?

Also do you have any other products with EE you could be getting billed for?

Peter

Hi when I go on the BT homepage it's says" Good news we'll soon be moving your BT broadband service to EE , BT broadband is becoming EE.

As far as I'm aware BT broadband is just becoming EE and the BT broadband contract I'm on is just getting a new name EE.

But I'm wondering why the first payment is £64 instead of £35 and taken out of my bank 12 days earlier than usual.

I don't have any other contracts with either BT or EE.

But I can't log into my EE account because I don't have one.

Update on the phone to EE and they think I must be getting scammed as it's a mobile account.

If you've not yet moved over then you shouldn't be getting charged from EE yet @Wonders85, so that does sound right. Are the team working to get this sorted for you?
