Moved next door same house different flat can not have 1.6gb only 24 mb -36mb

ok so i am moving to the flat next to me but can not take my 1.6gb connection with me i was told 2 options first you would have to sign up to bt and the speed will be 18-36mb i was getting that 12 years ago other option was cancel contract and move isp        so i cancelled it i told them to send me last bill internet goes off in 2 weeks what i did was go on youfibre site 2gb for 50 quid        2gb upload as well  has anybody else had this problem when theyve moved 2024 and the speed is24-36mb its unbelievable

@elflash69  that that’s because the flat next door doesn’t have a fibre line it has a standard phone line.
