Hi everyone,

I just had email offering a better deal for £44.99 with 4g back up included which I agreed to sign up to. The website said £44.99 a month ongoing but I got a email confirmation saying I have to pay £10 a month for 4g backup additionally £54.99. I was paying £10 a month for 4g backup in addition of £31.99.

This was the offer

Keep everything as in terms of equipment but add on WiFi optimizer and security. This included keep connected for £44.99 a month. I agreed to £44.99 a month not £54.99.

Are EE in the wrong miss selling or am I in the wrong. It definitely said £44.99 a month with 4g back up included in the price.

I contacted EE to complain and they're adamant I'm paying £54.99. They said the email confirmation is what I agreed to pay £54.99 which I did not agree to pay.

Any information and help much appreciated.

£44.99 / month even sounds too much to me. Regards the 4G back-up, if you have a EE sim or mobile contract you should have limited data already with at least 4G if not 5G which you can use as backup.
