When BT forced their domestic customers to migrate to EE, I assumed that we would be given the EE broadband KIT ..... now I want to upgrade to a better EE broadband as the bog standard is too weak to run my ring door connection. They mentioned in the new contract that my existing EE kit will be fine to upgrade....ER, I don't have an EE lit, just the old BT crap that is functioning in my house???
My question is, should I have been given the new EE kit when we were forced across from BT to EE???

@Yammie7374 It's a question and at the time of the change over BT to EE, then BOTH decide to whether what you have is good enough for the requirements of the home BB, do you keep the BT or get supplied with new EE and it's just not an automatic you get because you move. Would be good if you were to say what you currently have from BT equipment wise and what package you have settled on with EE.
The units from BT and EE are not the same, so you do have to be careful with choice. HTH

Thank you. I was migrated to the basic EE broadband. With BT I have the digital home phone, the WiFi router (black box) and then some kind of circular disc thing. I just want to make sure that the equipment will be sufficient for the 'upgraded ' broadband.???

@Yammie7374 You either have to take look at the units, post up model numbers from labels on them or take pictures and attach to you posting. But if you are still working then what you have is still going OK.
