Since switching to EE I have found that the quality when using Teams is not great - buffers on video calls and freezes. Other colleagues who are with EE have the same issue. Fine on all other platforms - WhatsApp etc. Are EE aware of this?

I have had a call from a knowledgeable EE engineer today and they finally seem to be taking the problem seriously. I am finally hopeful that a resolution is on the horizon.

I had really terrible Teams quality earlier today, and even turning off the Intel optimisation wasn't a successful workaround this time. I moved downstairs to sit next to my router and this didn't improve things at all. Dropping out of the Teams call and rejoining, the quality was fine to start with but people were soon complaining they couldn't hear me again.
It's getting a bit frustrating, especially as the workaround that once worked around it, no longer does. Or at least it didn't today. I don't know if there's been some changes or an attempted fix?

Exactly the same set up, work around and issues.
I think it's to do with the firewall settings and what's happening there.
It's mad that using the iPhone hotspot is better than the expensive EE lightning fast internet set up. Nobody has been able to help me either sorting the router out.

I am having the same issue. I just recently upgraded my line thinking that may be the problem. Now I am paying more every month with the same problem. When I am on EE wifi share screen on Teams is freezing or not loading. While on the call i switch to mobile hotspot and instant share appears. Why is this only happening with my home wifi (fibre line).

I agree 100% this is precisely the issue speaking as someone who works in IT and regularly uses the call now button on teams, can say it’s very annoying. It’s a real pitty that no one in EE has the technical know how to fix this issue

Your comment here has made the think
I’ve just replied to someone who like me has identified it’s just the P2P element of Teams that struggles I wonder if it’s because of the way MS Teams is working it identifies this as if it’s one of your IP Phones
