Hi there,
I recently got a new EE Smart Hub installed. Any device listed as connected via 'MLO' repeatedly disconnects and the only way to reconnect is to turn the WiFi on the affected device off and back on again.
I managed to make the connection more stable by setting static IPs, but that doesn't fix the problem when I return home after being at work, for example.
I want to turn the MLO part of the router off as devices on the 2.4 or 5GHz band appear to be fine.
How do I do this, or have I just got a faulty router?

@ca00 Which EE Smart Hub, see the link and say what is your's. You disable the MLO operation on your device not the EE Smart Hub, that may not have a disable feature.

@ca00 As an ISP supplied Hub, if you can disable MLO on it then web manager would be the way to get to it, but that hub you have only has 2.4/5Ghz frequencies on it, you need to go EE 7 Pro hub to get a 6Ghz frequency.
https://192.168.1.254 for the web manger interface and details needed card on the Hub, if any where would be advanced wifi settings.
Actual hub details linked from the one above.

Hi there,
I see, thank you.
There isn't a way to disable it in the web interface as far as I can see, so I'll see if I can get a replacement arranged as it must be faulty.
Many thanks

@ca00 Are all your wifi 7 devices that are trying to connect too the hub in MLO operation having the same effect when dual band connecting? Your device have you tried turning MLO off on it to see if single band operation works fine? There is not much raised search wise and the one is all about the 7 Pro hub ages ago but it was the first wifi 7 Hub. Linked below

It isn't faulty. You just can't disable MLO on these routers.
