No, my old phone had the interupted tone and a button lit only on the old phone system plugged into the then separate phone socket.
Since "updating" to digital home phone [as part of updating to Fibre to the Home] and plugging that existing phone into the phone socket on the hub that phone has had no indicator of a message, either tone or light, which is the issue that started this topic.
I've now replaced that old phone with the Essential Digital Home Phone as above.

New hub made no difference (....not surprised). Still no intermittent tone for voicemail.☎️

@TallSteve2 Consistent in the operation, at least you got a little practice putting a new router in, next step ask for a Pro version too be sent, there needs to be a couple off user's with continual and specific error's to see them all go away if the new router is reported as by @UkzVortex98 to have cleared up all of his DV issue in one fatal swoop, not sure if the VM tone was one of them but have not seen him jump on and complain about landline for a while now.!!

Anyone made any progress with this problem?
After they sent me replacement hub, and before I could try it, they closed my complaint 'cos their office was being disbanded.
