LG TV User Agreements

Hi, just joined the community and hope someone can help. My parents, wha are in their 90s, recently renewed their BT Broadband and were switched to EE. As soon as that happened the streaming apps on their TV e.g. NowTV, BBC iPlayer, etc. stopped working. The issue seems to be the TV unable to download the user agreements. Have tried tv reset, dns changes, etc. Thing is it works if I use my phone hotspot but not as soon as I switch it back to EE WiFi. EE tech team know nothing about it, which is worrying. Can anybody help. Thank you.

Have you tried using the WPS on the Now TV Box and seeing if that fixes it, and are you able to put the EE wi-fi password from the router directly into the settings on the TV.

That’s all I can think of, sorry if it doesn’t work.

@robh661 : What Now TV Box? The OP has an LG Smart TV with Now TV as 1 of the apps on it.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

No NowTV box, just the app on the smart tv. Thank you for reply

@maljam  Are you trying to connect to EE WiFi or to the router SSID which would look something more individual such as EE ERB123C?

The first example is a public hotspot you may be able to log into, the second is the connection for your individual service?
