Every day I have to put the long password into my tv to watch Netflix, Youtube etc. I've tried switching off router, switching off tv, but nothing changes. Getting a nuisance now. Never happened with my BT router !!

It does sound more likely to be a TV issue - your wifi password isn't changing each day, so it sounds like the TV is "forgetting" it. What brand and model of TV do you have?

Hi Doris, Did you get this sorted? Just moved from Plusnet to EE and this has started happening to me. No problem before but am now forced to enter the long password every day. Message on screen always says " no Internet connection " but when I put the long password in it works (until tomorrow). It's only since we switched to EE.

Sorry to hear you are having an issue with your TV's WiFi connection dropping since moving, that does sound annoying. Is it only the TV that you are having the issue with?
Have you tried to completely forget the WiFi connection within the TV's network settings to allow you to set it up again fully and see if it sticks?

All sorted, EE engineer came and fitted a unit that boosts signal from hub to tv, no problems now!!
