Smart WiFi Plus keeps dropping out.

Set up a new EE Smart Hub Plus with Smart WiFi Plus (SW) this evening. Smart WiFi Plus paired with the hub okay, But when moved to another room it paired for a while but then keeps dropping out.

Property is a new build, approx 5 yrs old. Hub & SW literally 18 feet apart, with hub on ground floor & SW in 1st floor bedroom.

Change from BT to EE connection proving to be a bad choice.

Advice welcomed. Nothing patronising from @EE though please.

@Jimbfrank Have you tried the SW off to see if you even need the extender! Do not return any BT requested parts until you are happy and working, there is 60 DAYS before return has to be complied with. Old equipment works fine on an EE Service if you need to put it back. Would be good to know the original setup too.

Did you manage to resolve this?

I was persuaded to move from BT to EE - put 3 EE WiFi extenders in exactly the same place as where the BT extenders had been for ~5 years without any problem - 2 are OK but the other one keeps dropping out - have moved it next to one that works and it’s fine - EE have tried to reset it and replaced without success - my diagnosis is that the EE hub/extenders are inferior to the BT kit even!!!

@adambc99 Might be the correct assumption that you have made!
