Issue Port Forwarding For Game Servers

FadeLupae

So I have port forwarded many times before with different isps for game servers tried both ark port 7777/7778 and Palworld 8211 however now that I am with EE I just can’t seem to get it working.

I have set my port forwarding rules checked that my server is setup correctly and can see they all should be working.

I have the Smart Hub 7 Pro running

Firmware version

r3.8.26-R-1595999-PROD-1

has anyone had any luck as this is a new contract and would really like to just get it working rather then cancelling and moving to another isp

@FadeLupae There is not much complaining regarding PF especially on the Pro but it's all hard to say, palworld you will need to find the tools to check that all out! Having the server on the DMZ you are effectively bypassing the hub firewall completely.

@JimM11

As Below here are the port forwards so far the PC is a static IP.

@FadeLupae Static were, in the PC itself or via the DHCP lan manager set as use this ip always? Your picture posted is not viewable until someone checks and clears it for the general viewing, just so you are aware.

Ah sorry did not know that, it is static using the EE portal DHCP.

Where you can just toggle static always use this ip

@FadeLupae Thanks, will look at your posted pic when it get's cleared.👍 You can while waiting on it all, quickly throw the IP off the server in the DMZ on the hub giving the PC direct access, do your checks then pull it back out off the DMZ when finished.

@JimM11  Thankyou very much i appreciate your help

@FadeLupae Picture cleared this end rules look fine as to what you have done so far!

Yeah so far i have restarted the device checked IP and ensured firewall is not blocking anything which i can guarantee as my old isp had no issue and the windows pc had no issues before
