Is my router dead

Just getting a red power light on my router and no green lights. It's been like that for hours now, it started with a flashing red  broadband light and then all the green went out and juat the red power light remained on.

I'm using up mobile data to post this so if anyone can answer I'd appreciate it.

I would contact ee but their phone line is closed.

Sounds like router is faulty. But 1st try rebooting it & if that fails resetting it.

What is the name of the EE BB plan are you on including its speed? Which EE router & WiFi extenders, if any, do you have (read label or post a pix)?

Hi thanks for replying.

I've tried turning it off and turning it on again and I've poked the reset hole with a paperclip, not sure that did anything I couldn't tell if the paperclip made contact with the reset button in there.

Nothing has changed still a red light no green and no idea why it's gone like that.

Not sure how this info will be of any use but my contract is Standard Broadband with landline and as you can see from the photo  my router is a Bright Box wireless router.

You'll need to call CS and ask for a replacement router.
