Hi, I just received my broadband router through the mail? Is the engineer appointment still necessary or can I cancel it somehow and install it myself?

What is the name of the EE BB plan you have ordered including its speed? What BB plan did you have before, if any? Which EE router do you have (read label or post a pix)?
What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

Hi, I just realised I got sent a phone for some reason instead of a router, even though my order was just for broadband and the equipment delivery page says that is was a Smart Hub Plus that was meant to be delivered. My plan is Essentials: Fibre 67. Anything I can do about this? Thanks

Call CS.
Did you have BB there before? If so, there should be no need for eng. visit to your home.

@ro0000 without knowing the info you have been provided, it maybe that an engineer is not needed at your property, but is needed at the exchange or cabinet.
Have you had the same level of broadband at the property, or is this a new service/upgrade?

I mean i just mentioned that i got a phone delivered instead of a router so couldn't install it myself even if i wanted too. Yeah, it's a new installation after moving in to a new place.

@ro0000 is there an Openreach phone socket already fitted in the property?
