The "last 31 days usage" page in the My EE site is showing insanely high usage:
I can't account for this at all and I was wondering if others are getting the same?
Note how it says it was updated at 3am on the 29th, yet apparently it had already uploaded 23GB and downloaded 26GB by then. This is a 67 Mbps fibre line, I'm not really sure it's mathematically possible for it to have transferred that much in just 3 hours?
Also I was away last week. Wifi was still on, but we weren't using it. So it seems suspicious that usage was so high even then.
Interested to hear if you have sensible looking stats on that page.
Many thanks!

@tdcolvin I would not pay too much attention to those figures they have not been used for some time.
Since broadband contracts have been unlimited it is not something that has been used yhese days.

I shouldn't bother with the reported BB Data Usage pages as they are widely inaccurate. They are either unbelievably high or zero! It doesn't really matter as EE BB is unlimited. You'd be better off looking at your own device's usage, e.g. Win's Settings > Network & Internet > Network Status > Data Usage. That'll even tell you which Apps used what over the last 30 days.

Hi @tdcolvin
Does anyone else have access to your router/wifi password. It might be. Worth changing it to see if the numbers reduce.
Like other posters have said if its unlimited then no need to worry but to be safe change the wifi passwords.
Thanks

That's exactly my issue. Nobody else has access to my wifi, so I'm concerned about that much data transfer for security reasons. Hence wondering if these figures can be relied upon or not.
If the figures are correct, I'll need to set up wifi sniffers etc to find out what's going on.

They can't be relied on & haven't been for years.

Are the figures in MB or perhaps they are in KB which would be more believable?

- The Summary page is in GB over the current billing month.
- The details page is in MB per day over the last 31 days.
For what it's worth! Not a lot 😉 !
