Hello everyone,
As someone who works in IT, I thought it might be worth learning about IPv6 and as a starting point, I've been considering implementing it on my home network. I'm currently utilising a Ubiquiti USG 3 and have it connected to EE Full Fibre. It's configured with IPv4 on the WAN port, using the EE standard username and password, which works perfectly.
My question is whether or not EE has implemented IPv6 on the FTTP / Full Fibre network and what the appropriate details are? The USG 3 requires the following settings:
I've read some alternating information on this in different places, some suggest that EE has no IPv6, some say only on the Mobile Network and others where it uses the same connection settings as BT Full Fibre - which I've tested (DHCPv6 and /56 as the Prefix delegation size) to no avail. Wondering if there's any EE specialists who might have some insight on this?
Thanks in advance!

I'm using an edgerouter 4. Are you?
This is a good place to start: https://grh.am/2018/ipv6-with-bt-infinity-and-an-edgerouter-x/

I'm using /56, and it works for me.

I'm using a TP Link ER707-m2 router; is Edgerouter 4 a Ubiqiti product?
Anyway...I need to either delete or update my previous post as I have since made changes and now get a 10/10 on Test your IPv6. (test-ipv6.com)
ER707-m2 (via OC200 controller) settings for EE FTTP IPv6

Yes, it is an older Ubiquiti product.
Well done, getting it going!

I nearly went down the Ubiquiti route but I couldn't justify the cost over TP Link...Ubiquiti products look so good though.
Thanks, took a while but now it's done...I need to find something else to mess with now 🙂

Would this work on EE 5G? I am using a Huawei 5G router plugged into WAN2 of my UDM Pro.
Thank you

Yes, @Yans335 , IPv6 is provided on the mobile network. However this thread was about fixed-line BB where IPv6 wasn't introduced until the provision of EE New BB in about Sept. '23.

Great stuff, thank you XRaySpeX, i have been after the settings I need to configure my UDM Pro to run with EE 5G (WAN port of Huawei plugs into WAN2 port of UDM Pro). I have it working on IPV4 but feel like I am missing out on speeds and want to utilise IPV6 but dont know the settings?
