I cannot find any information in the box/instructions on how to activate the sim card inside the hub, can someone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks in advance.

It should be pre-activated by EE.

I would have thought so too but in the description of "what the lights mean" it says solid red means the sim card is not activated and I cannot find out how to do it.

Good morning @marcusmantis, welcome to the EE Community 😊

Am I right in thinking it's the Smart Hybrid connect for when your broadband goes down here, or have you been sent a separate 4G router to use as a backup?

If it's the former, have you followed the steps in our help article for getting this activated?

It is the former and I have followed the setup guide to the letter, however the signal display on the hub is solid red and according to the guide supplied with the hub this means the sim is not active. I cannot find out anywhere how I activate the sim card.

Could you let me know how to activate the sim card?

Thanks @marcusmantis, if this continues to show solid red then I would definitely recommend getting in touch with our technical team

They'll be able to check over this from our end, and then look into the best way to move forwards from there.
