My smart Hybrid is connected and paired - it has the requisite solid green lights.
on Monday my Broadbsnd dropped for around 30minutes- I had a solid white light on the hybrid router but the EE TV box would not play any channels stating internet error.
My understanding is the reconnection is automatic but each time I get a drop from the internet it’s not working on my EE TV box.
Any similar issues or advice please?

When Smart Hybrid Connect is connected to the mobile network for your broadband, the following services won't work:
You can still watch content on your TV app (such as TNT Sports).
