Hello Jim,

Many thanks for your help and support with this issue is very much appreciated,

I do have a samsung S24 Ultra and a samsung Tab S9 ultra which both i believe support wifi7?

And yes future proofing is a consideration, I also have a high quality Hi-Fi component a naim nds streaming device and the amazon FireCube Gen 3, and a PlayStation 5 which are at the furthest point away from the SH+

the amazon FireCube , Sony TV ,+ PS5 are receiving very low signal strength showing on the EE app and the naim streaming component has occasionally buffered and lost Internet connection,

So I would like to increase the wifi speed/signal to these 2 areas and this is why I'm considering what's my best options,

So would it be possible to connect the SH Pro which i can buy new from Ebay £90 to the SH+ and then be able to use the SH Pro and the Smart WiFi Pro WiFi 7 Mesh SW40J as a mesh network and then when i get FF I'm set up

OR the deco mesh network connected to the SH+ I've come across the TP-Link PX50 which uses Powerline and wifi as a mesh network if i can't use the SH Pro would the TP-Link deco PX50 Powerline Mesh kit be a good solution,

Once again I appreciate your help

Many thanks Nicholas evans

Ohhh Jim I forgot to say my apartment walls are plasterboard fixed to a metal frame and it's the metal wall frame which i believe is affecting the wifi signal

@popmaster109 NO, you will have issue's with the lack of setting control on the EE Pro router connected to the EE Smarthub+. If you wish to get the Pro router, then you need to get rid of the EE Smarthub+ off the network and replace with something like a Tp-Link VR400 set as a modem only mode connection for the OR Master socket. Now you have got the Pro connected one room only and need to spread around the rest of the home, so need to look at smart wireless booster's also to go with the EE Pro unit...

You have said previous that the Tp-Link WPA powerline was not satisfactory getting the speed across the mains wiring so you need to rule out the PX50 range, and anyway they are not wi-fi 7 units, think wi-fi 6 at best for those.

EE Smarthub+ would need the link for wi-fi 7 mesh units, primary unit needs to connect with Ethernet connecting it's wan output to the lan input of the EE. Mesh is NOT easy to do in a wireless connected arrangement, you have to be made fully aware of this fact.

@popmaster109 Your plaster board will be foil lined, that is what will be killing your wireless signal.
