How to get your EE Smart hub working without Lag on your PS5

After many hours of messing around finally figured out how to do this !
Basically you need to make sure your PS 5 in your connected devices list is working on the 5GHZ wifi channel
After much trial and error the only way I found to do this is to change the 2.4ghz channel from smart 1 and randomly selected channel 6 ---- Now for whatever reason the PS5 only connects on the 5GHZ channel which is what you want to achieve !!!
Also make sure no EE wifi extenders are getting in the way !!!
This advice will save you many hours of pain that I had !!!!

An easier way is on your PS5 go into network - set up internet connection - Options - set your wifi frequency band to 5GHz only
Sadly the PS5 wifi is terrible and where possible I suggest you use ethernet.
