Is it possible to turn the Wi-Fi off but keep the connection wired? And is this something that can be done daily? i basically want to turn the Wi-Fi off at night but still be able to have a device connected to the internet, so that I can use my PC but my children won't be able to sneak online after bedtime. I don't have a smartphone so I am unable to access parental controls

Thinking about it again now, I think what you really want is to switch WiFi off thro'out the house while you alone can use a wired PC. You can do this in the router. On the Advanced > Wireless Settings page of the router you can disable/enable both the 2.4 & 5 GHz WiFi bands.

Hey there @earthandanarchy 😊
Welcome to the EE community!
If you don't have a Smartphone to access WiFi controls, have you tried heading to your Hub Manager instead?
This should give you the option to enable and disable the wireless connection, but won't affect wired connections.

With a Windows PC you can switch between Ethernet & WiFi connections by disabling/enabling the WiFi or Ethernet adapter respectively under Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections (Change Adapter Options).
