I want to get FTTP, there has been some work done recently in our area and now https://www.openreach.com/fibre-checker/my-products says I can get 1800mbps down and 120mbps up. They say that EE can provide this but when I go to EE they say they can't... online or over the phone.
After checking these forums some say to use the BTwholesale website to check things, I did that and on there it says "FTTP is not available." and VDSL Range A (Clean) high is 75.3
I assume the answer is go with BTWholeSale and carry on waiting but I am after confirmation as the openreach website used to say 70mbps was my max and it has been updated so something must have triggered that?

BTw! The necessary cabling may have been laid by OR but it not on sale until BTw has put the routing in place & are selling it to ISPs.
What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

@laneylad Until OR complete all of the work required, and then inform all of the ISP's that it is available you just have to wait, keep checking the OR website for your address, below all the tables it will say fibre is available or to that effect then ISP's if not delayed getting the info it will be come able to purchase/upgrade at that point.

@laneylad as already mentioned, it is the BTW website you need to keep your eye on. Openreach tend to be first to put the info their websire as they lay the fibre, but until BTW connect and commission their equipment so that it can be sold to ISP's you cannot order it.

@laneylad as per my previous post, do regular checks on the BTW checker, and get your order in when you see fibre is available.

I had the same issue, spoke to openreach, they said isp needed to send a cable link request in, long and short after various calls it took about a month for BT wholesale to update thier database so I could get full fibre, getting 900mb installed soon.

As an update.... I contacted OpenReach who were super nice, quick and helpful. They said that the lines are in place and ready to go but there is a "cable link issue" and my provider would need to contact BT Wholesale to order this to connect their equipment in the exchange.
I contacted EE and after being passed around a few times I was "reassured" (definitely not reassured by staff referring to their own product as "New EE" with their customers) not that they had already done this and I just need to sit tight now.... let's wait and see!
