I currently have a 900 Mbps FTTP connection with EE but am considering moving to a property which only has part fibre (minimum 59 Mbps guaranteed according to EE website). Openreach site states "We’ll be building in this area in the next year" so am hopeful for a future return to FFTP if we do move.
Can anyone advise if EE would transfer me to the fastest FFTC package available at the time or would I have to cancel my contract and pay termination charges? I can only see references to moving home with the same services available and no fee payable other than renewing a 24 month contract.
If they do allow a switch to a slower speed would I have to wait the full 24 months before regrading if full fibre does indeed become available before then?
Thanks for any advice.

Not for a router per se but you might be thinking of a £30 activation fee.
