Hi, I'm new to EE and my tplink av600 powerline adapters won't work in my garden log cabin, they previously did with sky, I think it is possibly because they are wpa2 and my new EE 7 router is wpa3. I don't want to spend on new wpa 3 powerline adapters if they don't work is there any recommendations to what powerline adapters that are wpa3 would work best with ee's new router and TV mini box. Any help much appreciated . Thanks in advance.

@Trickydicky75   do your powerlines connect to the router via an ethernet cable - if so it has nothing to do with wpa3.

If not, have you set up a compatable network on the router to help devices that do not have wpa3?

Hi @Trickydicky75

Try resetting the power line adaptors so they sync up again.

Thanks

@Trickydicky75 Powerline does not work that way, AV600 master connects to the Router Ethernet BUT it may not like that port as it is only 100MB/s NIC interface on it, the other end wireless or wired does not matter they are only max wpa2-psk on that device, NO wireless comms between the Powerline and the Pro wireless!

AV600 worked fine on the EE Smarthub+ no issues, Pro is a little touchy on the Nic Interface allegedly.

Just had to put a new AV1000 on to the Hub as the AV600 died last week, not bad after 6 year's and could not get new AV600 plenty used but stuff that, anyhow took out one off the AV1000 put it on the hub, grabbed the 3 other units and secure power lined the network for them, up and running 5 minutes.

No via the 240v cables to the garden room consumer unit, specifically the cloning of the WiFi, it just won't do it even after resetting everything, and the ethernet from the power line adapter to the TV mini box is sketchy too👍

Tried that to no avail

@Trickydicky75 You did take the units and do them ALL close to the Pro Router, also NO extension cables as the hate those with a vengeance! Once they are paired you can move them about as much as you like. What model are you dealing with mine are the Tp-Link WPA4220 kit, t-kit and the straight now AV1000/AV600 mix TL-PA717 Kit TLPA4010 Kit

It connects to the tv mini box  in the garden room from an ethernet from the powerline adapter, this periodically drops connection. No one can connect to the cloned WiFi from the powerline adapter in  the garden room, the message you get is access is denied due to router administrator. I've been on the router settings to no avail and have read it's a compatibly issue with av600 being wpa2 and new EE router being wpa3. Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree?

@Trickydicky75 Yes semi barking up the wrong tree, but you may just have to get the wireless wi-fi adapter IP address from the pro router and then go set the powerline as you need it, AS before there is NO interaction on the wireless and would not do the wps pairing if it is giving you an issue on the Pro Main wi-fi, easier just to go admin the unit via the web interface software!

say what models you have, may be easier to explain!
