I have just switched from BT where I had the wi-fi discs to get wi-fi around my home and it was great. But now with EE and this new gear, my iPad Pro only connects at really slow speeds for some reason. For example, there was an update available on my iPad but said it was going to take 18 hours to complete! I went next door and connected to my neighbours just to get the update done.
Really weird and no idea what is going on. It's the Pro with the M4 chip. Thanks.

@Manc_Biker Just put all your BT Router and Disc's back on as your connection it all works on the EE Broadband with no problems!

Unfortunately, within an hour of EE being installed, I had an email from BT demanding all the gear back 😕 I sent it off to make sure I wasn't charged for anything.

@Manc_Biker Then you are going to have to say what you have EE wise, that is the EE Router and any EE Smart wireless devices, the iPad is not liking the connection to the system for some reason, when NEXT to the main Router does the pad not go quicker?

And as if by magic, despite messing around for the last few days, it starts working fine after posting a reply to you! It's the full fibre 900meg connection and getting around 700meg on my iPad now, which is more than enough. Cheers for your replies.

@Manc_Biker As long as it's all working, that is what matter's, could even have been the apple update that sorted out the Network connection, as you seem reluctant to say what you have, the BT Smarthub2 was a wifi5 device along with the disc system, and depending on what you have from EE now you may have went up the spec, but your iPad pro is at max a wifi6e device, so you may need to be VERY close to the main EE Router if it needs to latch onto that band....
All the latest EE Router's / smart wireless mesh needs time to settle down, there is NO way to force that to happen!

Oh, sorry mate. I thought the full fibre connections all used the same equipment. It's the SmartHub 7 plus, plus two of the wi-fi extender 7's

@Manc_Biker No problem your EE Smart Hub 7 Plus, and it's smart wireless extenders, are just new, out about 3 months now, have a few teething problems and that's all getting sorted out with EE, so hang in there! That Hub does not support the 6Ghz band so you can forget about 6e on the pad Pro that's not the issue for sure!

So I've noticed what I assume are teething problems. Both my iPhone and iPad can suddenly drop to a ludicrously slow speed, I'm talking between 5-10mbps. But if I turn off and back on, wi-fi on them, immediately back to speeds in the hundreds of meg. No waiting or rebooting, just a quick off and on.

@Manc_Biker Had the exact same on my Android Samsung A54 would drop and NEVER EVER recover, 17/70Mbs on a FF500 fibre feed, the issue was PURELY weak WiFi signal and sorted it with a further AP added to the system, not once has it happened again! Wireless off/on with the mobile corrected it until the next time it decided to do so!
Not saying you have the same but something for you to look at!
