Gaming connectivity issues

Ok, I am currently experiencing some connectivity issues which a specific game, namely Destiny 2, but the problems only seem to be occuring with my PS5 consoles.  Running the game on my PC or laptop have no issues.

To be clear i am currently using an Asus GT-BE98 and although i have the EE equipment for my 1.6Gps service i have never used them on account of having the Asus.  I have tried setting up port forwarding as per the details on the Bugnie forums but it still doesnt seem to resolve the issue.

One thing that has been highlighted to me is that i dont currently have IPv6 configured which may (or may not) be causing my current issues, so the question i ask is there anything specific i need to do to enable IPv6 on non EE equipment? I have had a quick look at the router config and when i select the option to enable IPv6 there are a number of options when it comes to connection type or interface and i dont know where to beging with this, can anyone provide some advice for this?

Yes, i have two active PS5s and a third that is inactive but still working but haven't tried it yet, but the issue i am having is specific to the 2x PS5s.  I have a PC and a laptop that work without any issue for Destiny 2 on steam

I do have an EE hub that i got sent when i upgraded to 1.6Gbps but i have never used it, its still sealed.  Its probably important to highlight  that this issue only came about a couple of weeks agao and had been working perfectly fine which is why in the first instannce i took my issue to Bungie who basically brushed me off suggesting its my equipment thats at fault.

I know this is a Pain in the A** but any danger you can connect up the the  EE pro hub & connect the PS5 to it & try destiny 2? (trust me this will be worth it , i got a nagging suspicion) , turn off the ASUS & boot up the EE hub & the Ps5 with Destiny 2 no settings or anything just a cable or wireless , a full auto setup (DHCP) plug & play

@soupladel You could take a look on the Asus website for pushed FW updates to the Hub if you have it set that way, going to say the XT8 got done about 1 month ago date wise. 6th Aug 2026 to be exact on the file date, and if you are using Asus FW. You can easily drop back but you do need to turn auto update off.

@Profile closed The EE 7 Pro hub has been through MANY FW updates and you may wish to consider that also when throwing it o the connection... @soupladel List attached.

Yeah i feel what you mean but what im doing here is trying to eliminate that ASUS Gateway , ive done a bit of reading online & i just want to see if the issue persists with the EE hub
