Ok, I am currently experiencing some connectivity issues which a specific game, namely Destiny 2, but the problems only seem to be occuring with my PS5 consoles. Running the game on my PC or laptop have no issues.
To be clear i am currently using an Asus GT-BE98 and although i have the EE equipment for my 1.6Gps service i have never used them on account of having the Asus. I have tried setting up port forwarding as per the details on the Bugnie forums but it still doesnt seem to resolve the issue.
One thing that has been highlighted to me is that i dont currently have IPv6 configured which may (or may not) be causing my current issues, so the question i ask is there anything specific i need to do to enable IPv6 on non EE equipment? I have had a quick look at the router config and when i select the option to enable IPv6 there are a number of options when it comes to connection type or interface and i dont know where to beging with this, can anyone provide some advice for this?

What exactly are the issues with the game ? , you got a strict NAT ? & i cant think of a single game or application that requires IPV6 to be able to port forward you say "connectivity" issues what is the nature of these connectivity issues ? , might have nothing at all to do with port forwarding or firewall rules

The game loads initiially ok, but when i try to load in further to where i would normally expect to quickly arrive at the character selection screen it stays stuck at "Connecting..." for quite a while before eventually arriving at the character selecting. Then once i have passed the character selection and try to load into an activity I sometimes i get an error message that relates to network connectivity issues (these are named as BEE, CACAO, CATERPILLER wihich from the bungie sight suggest network connectivity issues).
Based on the Bungie website it suggests forwarding ports which i have done but it still comes back to causing issues which is only resolved when i go into the "Open NAT" and click on the Apply icon. Which to be clear have already been applied and saved.
I have raised this as an issue on the Asus forum and the only response i have had so far have suggested this could be connected to IPv6 functionality and although i am not entirely convinced that is even the cause, i have to go down that route in order to rule it out.
I also needs to highlight this has only been an issue in the last few weeks and appeared suddenly despite no changes being made to my config prior to that but i am stuck in the perfect storm of Bungie support, Sony support, Asus Support and EE as my ISP

It seems researching those error codes associated with destiny 2 & PS5 its more of a packet loss issue Packet loss is TERRIBLE the WORST issue for online gaming , as you have said your PC & laptop are working fine with this game so we can rule out your internet as if it were a problem with your EE connection you'd be getting this on all of your devices but you are not , so may i ask how does the connection method differ between your PC\Laptop & your PS5 ?. As the packet loss is between the router & the device not the connection to the wider internet .
PS i can unequivocally tell you with no shadow of a doubt a NAT issue would not cause these symptoms , you can either connect to other players or you cant , its definitely a networking issue but NOT a NAT issue.

Thats just it there is very few differences between them other than very slight tweaks in which ports are forewarded.
I have tried multiple different configurations such as setting a static IP for each PS5, not setting a static IP, using different DNS servers ranging from the default, to google and Cloudflare, i have set the DNS servers within the DHCP settings with the router, manually setting the DNS servers when setting a static IP or even within manual settings on the PS5s

@soupladel Asus iPv6 settings. Picture when cleared for general viewing. use www.whatismyipaddress.com to check what is getting through to your PC.
This should get iPv6 Working on your Asus..

Is This PS5 wireless ?, i ask as the ONLY time i have ever got packet loss is through a wireless connection , no matter how good the wireless tech ,myself recently i had a ton of issues with EE Tv (namely multicast channels) it was packet loss , SOMETHING in my place or around it was interfering with the wireless JUST enough to cause a slight bit of packet loss , enough to mess up the multicast but NOT enough to affect anything else like Netflix , prime , i player (things that use unicast) So i know it sounds like the most generic question but have you tried ethernet hard wired ? , cos for me even though i got the best EE equipment going hard wired completely solved my issue & like multicast online gaming is extremely sensitive to packet loss , where as almost everything else online is Not due to error correction & buffers., In this respect multicast & online gaming share this Achilles Heel.
I used to 24/7 play cod & battlefield for over a decade , i can tell you this is a packet loss issue Nothing to do with IPV6 , porting NAT , DNS , if you had issues with any of these you would not even be connecting (aside from DNS maybe). These things either work or not no in-between , your Line into house , ONT box, Hub\Router\Gateway & ISP are all working fine as you have none of these issues on your PC\laptop.......the issue is firmly between your router\ gateway & that PS5 ..............Or is it possible that PS5 destiny servers are Crap ? , its the same with all of them they will ALWAYS tell you the issue is on your end rather than theirs , but something between your hub & PS5 is the issue.
BTW...How are other online games on your PS5 ? any of the same issues ? (trying to rule out bad PS5 hardware)

I have tried it all of the SSIDs for my router which i have seperate, meaning i have tried Wifi7 and everything else below that and i have also tried wired and it has made no difference. The issues seems to be very specific to the Game > PS5 > ISP (EE) via Asus BE98 and i am going round in circles with this

@Profile closed Packet loss test here if you need it, and good to give it a real hammering. Adjust the time but use all the other settings for pure upload speed.

Cant Be your ISP (EE) if it were , you would have the same issue with the game on your PC\laptop , so lets rule ISP firmly out here , so....its either that PS5 or something in the ASUS, so that PS5 how are other online games ?
