Full fibre Installation - socket move?

Hi, I'm looking at upgrading to full fibre, which will obviously require an engineer visit.

What I want to know is, and I can't find the answer on here, will the openreach engineer install the new full fibre socket in a different room for us? Our existing copper line comes into our hallway, but we'd like the new line to come into our front room as it'd be far more convenient in terms of cabling etc.

The 'what happens next' info on EE's site is rather vague and just says an engineer may visit before the install date to determine what work is required.

we no longer have a landline phone, so the existing socket is used purely for our BT broadband router.

cheers for any help/answers

@GeordieChrisF Take a look at the OR install video. And also the

You should be able to discuss with the visiting OR eng. the positioning of the fibre cabling, both outside & in, & the interior ONT modem box and come to a mutual agreement. Beverages & biscuits are called for!

It is preferable that the ONT is fitted to the inside of an exterior wall, near a spare power outlet & close to where you want the router.
