File sharing no longer works!

So I have moved from BT to EE, and tried to use Qbittorrent for LEGITIMATE purposes and I get no connections whatsoever!
Safesearch has been de-activated, so I can't see it being that. Is there something I have to actively do to enable filesharing over EE?

Thanks

Hi @ollyk1

Do you have any anti virus software that could be blocking the connection?

Chris

Nothing else has changed tbh... Tried opening TCP and UDP ports in router and firewall, qbittorrent is also in firewall. I also only use MS built in anti virus nothing else...

It's weird tI tried a non legit site without VPN and it wouldn't connect, with it did...

I cannot see what has changed PC wise!

Is this also the case with the legitimate files/trackers you're trying to connect to? i.e. works over VPN but doesn't if you have the VPN disabled?

Have you changed the router you're using?

Is the network connection in Windows still set to 'Private' and not 'Public'?

I've just upgraded from 350 to 900 and suddenly can see a load of seeds and peers for an Ubuntu torrent, but can't connect to any and 0 speeds.

@richardgc1 - just regraded your speed on an existing EE broadband connection? Assuming so, there's zero change to the end to end infrastructure that would explain any change in file sharing behaviour 🤔

It's very odd - I hit full speed with a different iso torrent but the
Ubuntu one won't connect to any seeds despite seeing 1200!
