Fibre Broadband leasehold property

Just wondered will the open reach engineer definitely need to drill the line into the property?. I’m a leasehold flat so aren’t allowed anything done to the building.  If this is the case will need to change broadband type completely.

Thank you

Which Fibre are you wanting? For Full Fibre (FTTP) they will need to drill thro' an outside wall & affix boxes inside & outside of it. For any other Fibre (FTTC or G.Fast) it'll just be for an ordinary telephone cable, possibly thro' a wooden door jamb, if you don't have 1 already.
