Hi

Do EE still do this as when i try to search Broadband deals it just gives me Full Fibre broadband deals. I only do basic online stuff so don't really need Full fibre & FTTC is less hassle i guess.

Thanks

No, they're for DV, not copper landlines, where the phone is normally plugged into back of router. They communicate with the router by a DECT signal.

Copper landlines disappear after Jan. '27. There's no way to get around that. As I told you when you order FTTP you will be ordering DV with your current landline no. at the same time.

Ok thanks yes I get that. Also with that, currently the phone is downstairs right next to where plugs in to wall and pc is upstairs next to router and I want router upstairs next to pc with FTTP.. Would the distance the phone cable travelling be an issue and would they still be able to use same phone to plug into router or is that where the adapter comes in as you said. Thanks

Yes, that's where the ATAs come in. You wouldn't be using a phone cable from the router for long distances.
