Extender pro not visible as connected on app

I have just switched from BT to EE - wish I hadn't!!  I have installed the Full 900  Ultimate with the extender hub. The extender will not pair with the hub (accord to the app)  or show up as connected on the app. BUT - the Aqua light is showing. How can I tell if it is working properly? I have reset both hubs twice to try the pairing. Also my app says I have 40 devices connected, but most are duplicates? Awful app - very user unfriendly . I saw a pic on here from the app that showed how everything was connected but I cannot seem to find that on my app, so perhaps it has been upgraded?

@BarryH2 Sure looks like the Smart Wireless extender is not connected even though it has an Aqua Light on it, with both your app and the web manager showing the same, so it's either a straight power done for at least 5 minutes on it, back on and see what the light shows on it, your Tp-Link RE you may wish to stop that currently as well as no idea if you are connected AP/RE mode or if it even supports it, click on the wireless extenders tab and show all the details as much more information is displayed before you do the off/on, and capture but hide or blank an info you wish not to be seen on the post!

The RE should not interfere with the Router but as a wireless transmisson control it may do, so best to take it out the loop to start with, if it's AP mode then it may be clear of the EE Router wireless and nothing to worry about!

Had a quick look back at your original post, cannot see much in it, so just putting out there you have the correct EE Pro router to match the correct EE Smart Wireless model?

@BarryH2 Just use the web manager to look at everything, and NOT rely on a app to display it to you! There are other tools in the tool box, http://192.168.1.254 to get to the Router Web Manager.

That's great - thank you. This what is shows - I know it won't show the TP-Link extenders, but I know they are working. Surely it should show the extender hub?

@BarryH2 Your posted pictures until they get approved then know one can see them, if you look on the screen you will see many pictures of EE Routers with EE Smart wifi devices attached just scroll through until you see an example and compare to yours! Main page, and view all Latest Photos in Broadband & Landline..... Example once you click on a picture and go to the post is below!

Switched off both TP Link boosters and the extender hub connected. Have now reconnected one of the them )the other has become superfluous) and all still good

Many thanks for your help

@BarryH2 Is the Pro Router and the Pro Smart Wireless now covering all that you need, showing up in your app and also when you look at it with the web manager?

Having the Tp-Links off now although i did only look at the one from your picture posting so did not know you had the two connected may have missed that in reading, has the drop also sorted out your duplicates etc etc! Hopefully the web manager side does show you what you need, have never been a huge fan off the app as when in use was a 50/50 gamble to work!🙄👍

I just installed my extender and I was a little confused by this. Extender wasn't showing in the web screen despite the solid aqua light on the extender.

When I looked a little later, and I had 3 extenders! Strange. Then I realised, that screen doesn't show the number of WIFI extenders attached, it show the number of devices attached to an extender !

I finally found the page that shows the status of the extenders and which ones are connected.

On the old BT Hubs it used to show the wifi disks on the My Network page.

The web manager on laptop is fine - EE app not showing correct information, but can live with that!!
