Equipment

Joined EE in July.  As yet still not received the latest equient.  Rang to order as was missed off my delivery/order at the start.

Was told the old BT equipment I have is fine and does the job.  But I could have the new equipment to try to see if my signal improves.  I asked to try and they said they placed an order.

Still nothing.  Don't know what else to do.  I have broadband. But have not had the latest broadband hub or the equipment to send signal around the house.  I was told originally that the new equipment was much better so obviously I am keen to get what I signed up for.

@SarTad : It'll be up to EE what router you are sent.

Which EE BB plan have you ordered? If it's not the 1.6 Gig Full Fibre plan the BT SH2 is good enough & some say here that it is less trouble than the EE SH+.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I have full fibre 67 , 50-57 mbps.  When I signed up I was told the new equipment would be much better

@SarTad If you BT equipment is working fine then do not even consider changing anything, unless you come of the speed you have at present there is no gain in doing anything, If you want/need to get wi-fi all around your home, do you currently have problems in doing so and it will cost you £10 per month extra for that alone, and if you have a failure with the device then you may end up having to get a newer router anyway?
