Email fails to send

When I try to send an email on my ipad and iphone with my btinternet account it says the connection to outgoing server mail.btinternet.com failed

@Walkingthedog Click drop down arrow rhs of the pic box, select edit, and just remove the pics altogether

Could you try entering the settings again as shown on the BT Email server settings page?

What I was principally looking for was that the Server Port was 465 & not 25 which would stop the sending of emails away from the BT BB network.

So, that's OK!

It worked yesterday evening and this morning now it doesn’t.
