When I try to send an email on my ipad and iphone with my btinternet account it says the connection to outgoing server mail.btinternet.com failed

@Walkingthedog Click drop down arrow rhs of the pic box, select edit, and just remove the pics altogether

What I was principally looking for was that the Server Port was 465 & not 25 which would stop the sending of emails away from the BT BB network.
So, that's OK!
