Ee sky package

Hi all. I’m moving from Sky Q (tv and broadband) to EE broadband with the complete Sky package in a couple of weeks.

Has anyone else done this and is it worthwhile? I’m getting exactly the same Sky channels I currently get but on EE with EE/BT broadband. Works out cheaper than Sky.

I’ve been told EE uses BT broadband. Also been told that the Home Screen will be different to that of Sky Q. Does anyone have a screenshot of what the new Home Screen will look like? And am I right in saying I only need one box and I can still use other TV’s by signing in to them via the actual TV? I’ve gone for 3 boosters as I have a wide house and Sky didn’t work without the extra boosters.

Any insight or help with the above would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks Mustrum. I have already received an email from Sky saying they’re cancelling my broadband etc as another provider is ‘moving to my address’ (not true but still….) so they’ve definitely already liaised with each other. But I will call Sky just in case to make sure.

I’ll have a look for other providers too. I still have time to cancel BT if I find something more practical.

If it were EE you can cancel up to 14 days after going live. I'm not sure if BT is the same.

@JH1000    I would advise not contacting Sky re broadband, leave the transfer to BT. Reason is that if Sky put a cancel order on your phone/broadband no other provider can do anything on your line which is the biggest cause of delays. The gaining provider process which seems to have kicked in already means the phone/broadband transfer will happen as planned.

However, you should check on your TV package deal cancelation terms, were it me I would wait until the BT service was working, especially over Christmas!
