I'm trying to register to to swap broadband to ee, and they want land line number

@Alex313   It may be that you are in a stop sell area for traditional phone services.

If you could post the results after entering your phone number - or address if the phone number does not work, into the BTW DSL checker, it may explain what is happening. Make sure you hide your number/address though.

It won't if you are currently with a non-BT based ISP. like Sky, TT or VM. Use just your addy only.
