What a joke this EE website. Registering, I had to enter my user name. Did so but not accepted. Seems like they meant my password, which worked!
I was like many others I imagine switched from BT to EE without one's agreement.. My contract with BT would have ended this December. I have now been placed on EE contract for 24 months with an early termination charge of £400. Not sure whether this EE switch arrangement is lawful? It is certainly grossly unfair.
EE are now charging me an extra £5.00 a month for their Broadband, so called fibre but no faster than BT copper was.

@HaHa77heheJOKE To change over you had to agree to it, you can not just be moved over and entered in to a new contract without consent. A contract it’s a legal document not just a name and that has to be agreed upon by 2 or more parties, in this case EE offering you a contract and you accepting that contract.

@HaHa77heheJOKE As @Chris_B pointed out, there is also a statement for BT - EE coming together, but there should be NO way that they can force you into a 24month period especially when your contract runs out in December with BT, what if you had decided you were going to change ISP come that time. If they moved you to EE for the BT convenience then there should be no price increase and they should match you as like for like or faster but not slower than what you have at present. This just does not make any sense what so ever.
