Is anyone experiencing the same? I returned my EE broadband since 8/04/2024 but EE still took my £85. I rang customer service MANY times since my money was taken. First time they said the order hadn’t been marked as arrived. The customer service then marked it as arrived and told me that I could expect to receive refund within 5-7 days. I waited I was fooled. I rang again, now they said the refund was transferred on 17/06/2024 it would take 5-7 days to appear on my bank account. YES, THEY LIED.
I rang again 1/07/2024 that I didn’t receive ANY REFUND. Now, they said oh my refund wasn’t actually being transferred to original bank account. It was sent to previous address as a cheque. I was fuming I had been chasing this £85 for a month and they said they sent a cheque to the house I don’t even live in!
1/07/2024 They promised me that they requested a new cheque to send to my current address BUT god knows when it’s going to arrive. 10/07/2024 Nothing arrives, no refund.
I’ll have a look if I can make a court claim for money, this is ridiculous. They owed my money for months. If anyone still waiting for your refund let me know! I’m sick of chasing them every 10-14 days.
