I am not pleased with the EE Smart Hub and wondering how do I get hold of my login information to use on a third party router?
My username seems generic: readytoconnect@fs
The technical logs also show readytoconnect@fs as the username whilst the EE smart hub is live.
And if i click on "show password" in the advanced router settings it just says "hidden for security".

You may now use the standard BT creds. In Using & Configuring a Third Party Router you'll find everything you need to set up your own router incl. the BB creds.
What aren't you liking with the EE SH? I'm sure much can be overcome.

Thanks, I'll give this a go tomorrow when the new router arrives.
I'm noticing at least one dropout per day where the hub will just lose connection and go into orange flashing light mode for a bit, aside from that the wifi signal is just not good enough for my house - hoping that the first point is a router issue that can be solved by something a bit more capable. I work from home somewhere that can only get 30Mbps down so it at least has to be reliable.

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & hope it soon gets sorted.

Unfortunately this didn't work.
I'm using a TP-Link AX5400 and using the exact same settings as this post apart from the user name and password which I have tried from the Using & Configuring a Third Party Router you shared.

@bdfin it 'should' work - what broadband plan are you on?

That TP-Link is a Router Only. It cannot just swap in for the EE SH, which is a modem-router.
What's acting as your modem? Which EE BB product do you have?

The BB product is fibre over an openreach phone line so I'm assuming I can't use this setup then. And as far as I'm aware I can't use the smart hub in modem only mode either?

No, with that TP-Link you're gonna need a modem. The EE SH can't be in modem only mode. The best you can do is disable WiFi on it & let your other router handle the WiFi connections.
