Hi
I joined EE broadband about a week ago using the Wifi7 Smart hub and extender.
A couple of issues:
In the EE app, if I go into manage broadband, click on a connected device, then "add this device to a group". So i then Add a new group and click "save group". I then get "We couldnt save this group's name. Try again"
I've been trying this dozens of times for a week now with the same outcome. Its impossible to add a single group.
Also, I dont see anywhere in the app or in the router interface itself to be able to look at devices that are connected the either the main or guest network separately. Only ALL connected devices. Am I missing something?
Any ideas if there is any talk about EE developing a separate app dedicated to the router setup, as the EE app and router interface itself seems quite limited to me (and slow).
Thanks

@hawkerpaul You can also look at the router using the web Manager Interface to do so via http://192.168.1.254/
Unfortunate you do need the EE app to make groups, add devices to the groups, change device names etc so it's a whole bag off mix / match between both!
Will be going to https and security cert shortly by looks off an earlier post from @tnj with the latest FW update!

Thanks @JimM11
So is it just me that gets this error tying to add my first device group in the EE app?
Yes I mentioned I've also looked in the router interface itself.
Agree, its a very mixed bag chopping and changing between router interface and EE app. I wanted to do simple stuff like renaming connected devices to something more meaningful, and that cant be done on the router, but need the EE app, which I find surprising. And like I said, even looking at connected devices separately on main and guest network should be a basic feature. I find the EE app very slow at the best of times, so its a little frustrating. A dedicated EE router app would be good, like the Eeros. Their app is excellent, but it needed to be, as it has no direct url to configure it as far as i know.
Hopefully a firmware upgrade to our Wifi Hub router will bring more luck.
