It's blocking release-assets.githubusercontent.com and there's no way to say that's incorrect. on GitHub, when going to a repository and clicking releases and then downloading it, it takes you to release-assets.githubusercontent.com. But EE advanced web protect is blocking it with no way to report that as incorrect. The only way to fix it is to switch it off. It provides an option to unblock for just 1 hour but that's it? Could someone from EE please give instructions to the advanced protect thing not to block release-assets.githubusercontent.com?

Plenty of examples out there of malware and other nasties that rely on Github-hosted content so this is probably entirely intended - particularly if whatever 'drives' Advanced Web Protect can't distinguish between e.g. release-assets.githubusercontent.com/something and release-assets.githubusercontent.com/something-else
There's no way to completely whitelist a URL using Advanced Web Protect as far as I know, only the option you've seen to unrestrict for an hour.
Could be something you need to live with.
