Hi

can anyone help I still have my old EE Wi-Fi discs from previous internet. I have now upgraded to fibre but the discs won’t connect because the new hub is WiFi 6. I was wondering can anything be done to get them to work on the new hub.

@1bats Your answer is that the new Smart wi-fi devices are compatible with the new EE Smarthub+ if that is what you have. Others are not. Link below from XRaySpeX has chart with what works. Click on link to view.

EE have said the discs won’t work on my new smart hub 3 I was wondering if a new firmware can be downloaded to the discs that would make them work

@1bats Or if you still have your old router and not using landline, put it back on, everything should work as before.

You have the Smart Hub Plus (SH31B) router. The old white round EE Smart WiFi discs are not compatible with it. It's the new white rectangular Smart WiFi Plus (SW30A) extenders are intended to go with it.

No firmware will be issued to change this situation.
