I've just had EE install Wi-Fi into my property.
The WIFI 7 Pro router works fine, the Pro extender doesn't pair with the Pro Hub.
I've had two techs visit my property and change both Pro Router & Pro Extender twice, the extender will still not pair with the Pro router.
With the use of an ethernet cable between router & extender, the equipment will pair with solid blue aqua light on both equipment. When viewed on EE app the extender will not show as active but the Main hub will, which leads me to believe something is still not working.
Once the extender is powered off then powered back on it will not pair, even when in the same room. without the use of an ethernet cable the router and extender will not pair. WPS will not work.
We've done several factory resets and WPS attempts, still no closer to getting the extender to work.
Has anybody experienced to same issues? or have and luck getting the extender to work.
Cheers!

@TA65 Take a look at the link below.

I'm having the same issue except my extender worked fine for about 6 months. EE sent me a new one but it's the same problem. The problem being they're cheap Chinese routers and extenders. Utter garbage.

@Blinking0range What is it that you have, and are you aware off the current issue with Hubs/Extenders in general?

Hi JimM11
Not really aware of specifics other than I've heard other people (colleagues mostly) say they've had nothing but trouble. At this point I'm contemplating getting my own router and extender. That said, I've got two solid aqua lights now for the first time (wirelessly).
the original installation was done by EE. The location of the devices and house hasn't changed (no new walls, objects etc) so I don't know why the connection dropped and wouldn't come back. EE sent a new extender and it paired fine with the cable but as soon as I moved it, it wouldn't connect.

Next step will be to move the extender and see if it holds after I've given it an hour

Hi JimM11,
Using the new extender, I did a full power down of the extender, hub and ONT, switching them on in reverse order (if that even makes a difference). The hub paired wirelessly and I had two solid aqua lights. The extender showed in the app, albeit with a too close message. I'd achieved this before without switching the ONT off and on but the subsequent moving of the extender to the second floor didn't work. This time, for belts and braces, I then changed the channel from 11 to 6. It's worked now and although the extender initially said try moving closer for a better signal, I selected 'use this location any way' and it's now fully operational with a strong signal msg. So either the ONT power cycling or your tip of changing the channel (or both) has fixed it. Thank you for your help and rapid replies!!

@Blinking0range No problems, was trying to make you aware that there are New FW updates that are messing with TWO of the EE Hubs and Extenders currently....

@Blinking0range I've had similar problems.
After a week of messing around it finally stabilised last weekend and I've been using it most of the week without any issues. The extender is in the room directly below my office. The app seems to rotate between "Strong Signal" and "Too Close" depending on when I look at it so I'm not convinced that is very useful.
Suddenly yesterday my Microsoft Teams call stats were terrible and the extender refused to re-connect after a power down. Like you, I went through the full Extender, Router, ONT power-down and then back up in reverse order as that does seem to clear the issue. The Extender has stayed aqua overnight and Microsoft Connectivity stats are looking good this morning.
Really frustrating when working from home.
