My mum says she switched over from sky but when she was with sky she had a landline number where she could be contacted at home now she has switched to ee her landline no longer works why is that

When you complete an application for BB on the EE website it asks you whether you want to keep your landline no. & if so fill in that no. If she applied at an EE store it could be they were sloppy & didn't ask that Q.
