EE App will not pair with BT Home Hub 2

Hello,

I am meant to believe that EE and BT are now one entity—talking one means talking to all—apparently not.

I have just been switched from BT as part of contract renewal to EE. Immediately after the switch over, I lost access to the MyBT app where I manage my wifi controls for my kids and their safety. I was hoping to be able to pair the EE app to the BT box which is not  working—stucks after the scanning stage. It's really frustrating as I will not be able to limit the kids access to wifi.

How can I pair? Or is there another way to control the wifi access? Please help.

Cheers.

The EE app does not work with BT routers.

BT & EE are still separate ISPs.

@Sircas Check if the MyBT app still controls you BT Smarthub2 router!

I cannot log in on the mobile app. It won't recognise my details. Eventhough I was logged on it 10 mins before my switch over.

@Sircas Have you checked with another device in case the site is down, or do you just rely on the mobile to do everything! Look at the link above, account available for 12 months. What you can or cannot do i have no knowledge off.

The Wifi Controls are available only on the app. I have access to account online. But I cannot control wifi access without the MyBT app.

@Sircas You could have a quick try with the web interface to the router to see if you have any control that way, it will be http://192.168.1.254 and my be under access controls, worth a try.
