EE App Will Not Run a Speed Test

I saw a number of previous posts at the end of last year that people were having issues with the EE App after being moved over from BT. 

We only moved over in Feb/March and are having the same issues. I want to try and run the tests because our wifi connected house alarm keeps dropping connection and waking everyone up each night so trying to work out the issue (only started since the new EE WIFI). 

Spoke to EE Customer service and they said they were not aware of the problem so wanted to see if others were still having an issue.

Yes, our signal is 'better, as in we didn't have any signal at all in our village with BT, but upload speeds aren't great. And I have no clue what's going on with our bills, Keeping an eye on it, but I called (never less than an hour out of my working day), and the staff member was equally clueless so i gave up. Am reluctant always to seek support because over the first two weeks staff just didn't have the training and things kept getting worse. And there is no cumulative support, so every single first line member of staff makes you jump hoops before conceding they can't help. Dismal for them and us!

As an update and thanks for all the replies the app STILL doesn’t work. I can run speed tests elsewhere but don’t understand why the app just refuses to work. Also have issues connecting to the WiFi extenders but will keep trying…!!

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app?

Yes exactly same issue. App on iPhone doesn’t work since moving from BT. They are supposed to be same company, but experience of EE so far is terrible.
